Transparency Report Policy
Last Updated: October 18, 2025
1. Objective
Transparency strengthens accountability. This policy explains how my99exch.id tracks and publicly discloses key compliance metrics, takedown requests, and user-rights enforcement.
2. Report Frequency
We publish a bi-annual transparency report summarizing:
Government or regulatory takedown requests.
Verified grievances and resolutions.
Copyright or privacy complaints.
Content corrections and removals made voluntarily.
Data requests from law enforcement (if any).
3. Information Categories Disclosed
Volume of Requests: Number of complaints received and processed.
Resolution Time: Average days to close cases.
Outcome: Content retained, removed, or modified.
Legal Basis: Statutory sections invoked (e.g., IT Act 2000, Copyright Act 1957).
Appeals: Requests escalated to regulators or courts.
4. User Privacy Safeguards
Reports use aggregated data only. No personally identifiable information is disclosed without explicit consent or legal requirement.
5. Verification Process
Each entry in the report is cross-checked by Legal and Compliance Teams for accuracy. Numbers are rounded to the nearest whole to avoid individual identification.
6. Publication Method
Transparency reports are hosted at /transparency-report/ and linked in the footer for easy access. Archived reports from previous years remain available for public review.
7. Independent Audit
Once a year, an external auditor reviews our reporting process to validate data integrity and methodology.
8. Government Interactions
We respond only to lawful requests supported by valid orders or court warrants. Non-compliant or vague requests are rejected with written explanation.
9. User Notification
Whenever feasible, users are notified before content is removed or data shared with authorities, unless prohibited by law.
10. Review and Amendment
The transparency report policy is reviewed annually to align with emerging legal standards and public expectations.
Summary: my99exch.id publishes regular transparency reports that quantify content takedowns, grievances, and legal requests—reinforcing trust and accountability.
